Clark: Lex.
Lex: You still say it the same way… astonishment mixed with a hint of dread, yet…with a hopeful finish.

It’s been a little bit since I did one of these. I was being lazy. F has not many choices for me. It really came down to Foreigner and Foo Fighters. I went with Foreigner though because I felt like it. You can’t go wrong with either band though. I just feel more connected to the old school songs and classics of Foreigner compared to the Foo.
Honorable Mentions: Foo Fighters and maybe Fleetwood Mac and that’s it…not sure

I was unaware of this. I might have to give it a look.

Similar to the D bands, I had trouble picking a band to represent the letter E. I went with The Eagles. I am not really too big on The Eagles, but they were the best I could get out of this letter. Nothing else really stood out to me. Welp, there you go. I present The Eagles.
Honorable Mentions: Earth, Wind, and Fire, Eurythmics, Evanescence, and Extreme…solo artists are so much better for this letter

Yeah, I figured I would just group the Ducks movies as #1 as a whole. They would end up being the top 3 movies if they had not. I grew up on these films and I have most of the lines memorized. I spent so much time in my grandma’s basement pretending to play hockey. I would do triple dekes and knuckle pucks with my grandma’s brooms. I believe we used tape as our pucks. My nostalgia for these films are very high. I still get as much enjoyment out of them today as I did back then. So this wraps up my favorite 90s films. It is a goofy list full of some really bad movies, but I love those movies and my opinion is all I need.

Deep Purple is mainly known for “Smoke on the Water”, but they are a better band than just that. Purple has changed a lot over the decades, yet they are still going to this day. I had a tough time deciding on D bands. I like Deep Purple but I tend to not listen to them often. Other D bands are very similar to that vein. Purple is my favorite though.
Honorable Mentions: The Doors, Duran Duran, Disturbed, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Def Leppard
My girlfriend would probably choose Dashboard Confessional

As a kid in the 90s, this movie always got play at my grandma’s house. On paper, it is a baseball movie. However, it is much more than that. This movie is a comedic masterpiece. So many funny gags are in this film. I don’t know how many times I have quoted this movie as well. The best scenes do not even really have to do with baseball. It is the dialogue between the kids. Benny “The Jet” Rodriguez is also like the greatest baseball player to ever live. Anybody who can pickle the Beast gets that honor.

Like John McClane, I love me some CCR. Creedence is good classic rock. The group was led by John Fogerty and I feel I have done some writing on them lately. That is mainly because I had to write a history paper on Woodstock. CCR played a small part in writing that paper. My favorite song is probably their most played song, “Bad Moon Rising”. I love how the show Supernatural uses it. In fact, Supernatural does a great job using a lot of classic rock. Give that show and CCR a look if you haven’t .
Honorable Mentions: Cheap Trick, Cream, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, Chicago, and Creed…..what? I thought everyone liked Creed in the late 90s

I think I may have a Mortal Kombat addiction. I love the games and I love the movies. This movie is way way better than the sequel. I consider it actually a good movie as compared to the sequel which I love for nostalgia value. The fights are great in this film. Johnny Cage and his one liners are hilarious to me. Shang Tsung is a really good bad guy. Raiden is also quite funny. All these elements combine into a kickass movie that I really enjoy watching.
